I'd like to strangle or at least castrate a software "engineer" or two live in public or at least post the tourture on youtube. "Engineer" what a fucking waste of time and a joke. Most of these jerkoffs never have a need for the shit they write so they have no clue how to properly design software. Trying to do any idealistic task with a computer always takes more time than living without the benefit of having the computer assist with the task. I am convinced that 60% of all the "updates" computer users suffer is at the hand of lawyers and the US governmet to keep the revenue stream and the tax machine flowing. As an end user, who gives a flyngfuck if your MP3 Download is licensed?!! I can't tell you how many times I've just wanted to do 1 THING and spent all the fuck day dicking around trying to get some software patch or some piece of shit download to fix something that shouldn't have stopped working to begin with. Some day I'm going to chuck $80k worth of computer crap into a big burlap bag and take it for a boat ride and when I get back, I'm just going to live off the grid.
