I hate how i was so nervous for my heat in the 100 meter dash. I was so scared that I didn't run my fastest. I hate how my fear prevented me from running my fastest, and made me place second to last. I hate how i looked over at the person next to me, and accidentally slowed down. I hate how I felt energized after my only race. I hate how boring it was to watch all the lucky people run, while I sat around wishing I could run In another event.
I absolutely hate the stupid coaches. They NEVER pay any attention to the 100 meter people. I hate how I sit around bored all practice because the coaches ignore the sprinters and then get all mad when we have a slow time.

I hate ringtones. Why is there a common assumption that as soon as a mobile phone rings everything else is secondary to answering it. If you're busy just let it go! Why be a slave to your mobile? Of course there's always the argument that the noise is annoying for other people in which case use the silent or vibrate feature. That's what they're for. If you ask me they should be manadtory. I hate midterms. Whose bright idea was it to schedule exams that make up 50% of your final grade all during the same week? It's one thing with finals since then we get a week off in advance to study, but this is just ridiculous. How does anyone expect us to go to class, do all our regular tedious work like lab write ups and daily reading, and then study for these monstrous exams on top of all that?

And it's not like you can study in advance for most of these things either. Half the time, you're not even given all the material for the midterm until TWO DAYS beforehand, which makes it impossible to avoid cramming. What the hell?! Do these people want us to fail? Oh, and if you're really lucky, one of your professors will give a you a "take-home exam" in the middle of all this. So now, on top of having to cram for two midterms in two days, you have to write a ten page paper too.

And they wonder why college students have such a high rate of suicide. Mar 8 7:30 AM MST
