i hate painting. why can't we just hire people to do it? i hate all the prep work: the taping, cleaning, spackling, washing, covering the floors, painting, watching it dry, then redoing all the tape to do the trim! what a pain in the fucking ass. to top it all off, somebody (including me) did a crappy job painting really dark colors in the past, so hints of the dark shit peeks through the ceilings, which means i'm going to have to paint that too! relatedly... i hate trying to sell our place.
