I hate people who act like their being "brutally honest" gives them an excuse to say incredibly rude/harsh things to others. What the hell? It doesn't make you a "good friend"; it makes you an asshole. i hate small talk. i hate having to sit around and talk about stupid insignificant things, just to make conversation. it's just boring! let's get on with our lives with more important things than be polite by sticking around for small talk.
i hate how you run into an aquaintance and you have the stupid small talk, but then on top of that, you add the lie at the end, 'we should get lunch sometime'... I hate that my husband can just lie around on the couch all day and watch movies like Norbit. For fuck's sake, doesn't he realize I'm in Mensa? The stupidity and pointlessness of it and movies like it grind my nerves and irritate my intellect.
