I hate facebook. I hate it because it trespasses norms of human nature, where people are allowed to forget people. Sure it is nice to be able to find old friends. But maybe some forgotten things should stay that way. Dec 4 12:16 PM MST

I hate the common modern day practice of financing engagement rings. An engagement ring is supposed to cost a certain portion of a man's yearly salary, and thus be a representation of his ablity to support a wife. There was a time when a woman finding out that an engagement ring was not paid for was grounds for divorce, as it constituted fraud. Nowadays, rings are financed out the wazoo. When a couple marries, their debt is combined. Essentially a woman ends up paying for her own damned engagement ring. Why this is tolerated, I just don't understand. Sep 24 3:31 PM MST

I hate the fact that money makes the world go round. It's so unfair. Money controls everything. I hate not having enough money to pay for all of my mom's doctor visits and medications. I hate worrying about where our next meal will come from. I hate worrying that my teeth will fall out because I don't have insurance and I can't afford out of pocket costs for the hundreds of dollars in bills. I hate that our government doesn't see that every single person deserves medical, dental and vision care regardless as to their income.

I hate housing costs! I hate the fact that in my city, half a MILLION bucks will barely buy you a normal house to live in so everyone has to rent. I hate rental apartments because of the crime and car thefts and noise and crappy maintenence. I hate rental houses because the rents are too expensive for anyone to live in and survive. I hate the fact that George Bush and the economy have seen to it that the middle class is eliminated and we're a country of the rich and the poor, no in between.

I HATE my mother-in-law. I hate her nasty venomous mouth. I hate that she has the power to affect my self-esteem and self-worth with her trash talk even though I know it's not just me, she's just a mean person. I hate buying into it and feeling like I'm just not good enough.

I hate how the world revolves around children. Life is not only about babies and grandbabies. Good for you if it is for you but it's not for everyone. I hate hearing it all the time! Nov 29 10:32 AM MST
