I hate old people who do their shopping the weekends. Why can't they do their shopping in the week when the rest of us are work. They just stand around in gangs, chatting and getting in the way. It's takes them an hour to choose a loaf of bread then then when they get to the checkout they take ages looking for the EXACT money, counting every god damned penny. I hate Shrink Wrap and most forms of modern packaging. Why oh why encase tasty items like cheese in these invisible force fields of clear plastic? CDs don't need a thin coating of plastic film. They are already quite happily protected by theri cardbaord or plastic cases. It is a waste of time and energy and fills the world with yet more pointless plastic. Almost impregnable, shrink wrap is the devil's sporn. It is standing between me and my tasty cheese snack, it prevents me from immediately playing my new Arctic Monkeys CD. It is very very wrong. I hate promises, because nobody ever keeps them. If you're not going to even try to keep your promises then don't make promises in the first place. I hate it when my husband tells me he will only have one drink with his friends and then come straight home, when he knows that three hours later he will still be in the pub. I don't mind him being out late, but at least he can say that from the beginning!!! I hate banana peels. I recently tried dropping a few on the ground to get some good laffs from people slipping on them, but no one slipped! In fact, everyone avoided stepping on the peels altogether! I had to try stepping on a peel myself, but it wasn't slipppery at all, and I just got banana jizz on my shoe for my troubles. I HATE my social studies teacher! He always acted so cool, and he was so funny, and he'd send nice letters home about me. Then I got a 61 and a 79 on two geography quizzes-which are pure memorization- and sends home this nasty e-mail about how I'm not reaching my potential though I have an A- in his class. i hate small talk. i hate having to sit around and talk about stupid insignificant things, just to make conversation. it's just boring! let's get on with our lives with more important things than be polite by sticking around for small talk.
i hate how you run into an aquaintance and you have the stupid small talk, but then on top of that, you add the lie at the end, 'we should get lunch sometime'...
