I fucking HATE when people respond with "lol" in text messages and IMs.

"lol" is a invalid response. It gives you nothing to discuss, It does not forward the conversation. It usually isn't the result of a real "Laugh out Loud" event anyway. It gives no hint of what the other person is thinking.

Fine, "lol" if you have something else to say atleast. But "lol" as a standalone response? Good grief. This is why I prefer actually talking to people face to face. You can't say "lol" in real life and not say anything else. Dec 3 1:14 AM UTC

I hate pointless conversations. On IM. They go like this:
A: hey
B: oh hi
A: whats up
B: nothing
A: thats cool
B: how was ur day
A: good, yours
B: good
A: thats cool
B: yep
A: sooo
B: im bored
A: lolz

...And so on. :P You know, all that junk.
I bet there are some hates like this already, but I just want to point out MY hate...
Have intersting conversations, please, you'll be more interested. And if you aren't that interesting of a person, talk to someone interesting, and the conversation will be better at least. I hate it when I make a typo and I do the little "*" to correct it, and I get it wrong again. And then I still get it wrong the next three times.

Example:
me: haha yeah sertousu
me: *serousyl
me: *seriouly
me: UGH
me: ******seriouslt
me: UGH ARE YOU JOKING ME?
me: 8seriously
me: I took time to type it that time.
me: WHAT THE-- it's an 8 instead of a "*"
*throws keyboard*

I hate it how girls always write stupid little quotes or faces in their profiles about their boyfriends, and how "in love" they are, and how special they are, and how they are "never" going to break up. I hate how poeple have this fetish with putting RIP in their profiles with everyone they know who has died. ***NEWSFLASH*** the dead person doesn't give a shit if you have RIP _(their name)_ in your profile.
