i hate when people wear loads of makeup.
dear god, knock it off. the point of makeup is to accent your features or cover up some minor flaws - not create a new face. Mar 19 7:58 AM MST

I hate how the cosmetic industry bullshits us with their stupid campaigns. For example this cream has micro cells that will lift your face and make you look 10 years younger. It's not true and no cream or anything will ever take your wrinkles go away. They put synthetic products in their fabrications because they cost less and sell them in high prices. I hate that people don't try to understand a little more about what they put on their faces and bodies! Oct 25 7:47 PM MST

I hate HTML tables being used for non-tabular data. Just because a specific markup practice was tolerated enough for you to squeak by in your infancy, doesn't mean you shouldn't grow up. Grown web developers walking around talking monosyllabic baby talk rather than spend the five minutes it takes to learn how to use CSS float in a manner accessible to most of your target audience. Masterhater says: I think people today focus too much on War and Violence. It really does stem from the anger generated by bad HTML. I want to see the next presidential speech on the value of CSS and what policies we have to stop the Table insurgence.

I hate how fucking ignorant my father is! (and not only that, but also how he thinks he knows everything and always has to stick it in everyone's face) I know I've said this before, but new, more ilustrating examples have come up.
He's constantly critizicing how I play the piano, saying "this should be faster, this should be slower", without even knowing that such thing as "tempo" exists. He dares criticize me, beliving that there is a sort of "universal tempo" (one beat = one second), and that the speed of the passages is determined by the kind of notes (for example, if it's fast, then they are sixteenth notes, if it's slow, then they are half notes), which is something anyone with a bare understanding of the most basic music theory, knows that makes no sense at all. He says "if you play eighth notes that fast, then how are you supposed to play sixteenth notes?". He looks as if he was trying to embarrass himself on purpose!
Also, he thinks he has a perfect pitch because he can recongize de C when playing a C major scale, and there is no way to make him understand why one thing has nothing to do with the other! I mean, I got to a point where, if he wants to belive it, I just let him be happy in his ignorance, what the fuck do I care. But is it to much to ask to stay off my fucking back, man?
And also, the other day I was practicing, so just for fun I was playing a conventional 1-4-5-1 cadence in a minor, and he goes "oh, that's Chopin's Predlude, right?" I didn't know which one he was talking about so I said "I don't know, maybe..." But a few days later he shows it to me, it was a prelude in c# minor that was nothing like what I was playing, the only thing they had in common was that both where chords played on a low registry. So I say, "yeah, they kinda sound alike" because I honestly wouldn't think any less of him just for making a mistake on a subject he knows nothing about, it can happen to anyone and it's ok. But he can't stop, he goes on and on "No, this are the exact same chords you where playing the other day, I recongize them because of my musical ear. You have to learn this piece, you know almost all of it already". Not only it wasn't on the same key (which is something you can't expect him to recognize), but also, the very escence of Chopin consists in modulating to unexpected scales, and using interesting cadences, rather than playing 1-4-5-1 indefinitely (which is something almost anyone could see. And if they can't they might as well shut the fuck up! Right?) Oct 3 5:49 PM MST

I hate that one of my really good friends think she knows everything and won't even listen to other people's opinions. Then she comes back and says she hates ignorant one-sided people! She never changes her mind and is actually serious when she argues her side...even if you have evidence that she's wrong! I love her to death because she is such a sweet person, and she is really smart, but she won't let herself be educated. I hate it. Sep 5 9:59 AM MST

I hate my dad for being such a fascist. But I don't mean just some regular racist, nationalist, or religious fundamentalist guy. I mean, he actually stands up for those corporations that enslave workers in third world countries, saying "that's just how work is done in those countries" or "that's how the system works, nobody is going to give their wealth away". Just a moment ago, he was trying to convince me that back in the old days, colonialism was a good thing for the colonized, that the imperialists never took advantage of their colonies. He expects me to belive that colonies only wanted to be independent because of some sort of national "tantrum", but they were much better off being dominated. GOD, how ignorant can a person be? He also thinks that organ transplants are just a charade for making money, but don't actually heal the person... but that's a whole other story. Aug 18 1:10 PM MST

I hate that I'm never happy with what I have. The minute I get what I want, the tables seem to turn , and I feel like it's no longer needed.

I hate hating things.
It makes me feel ignorant.
No one actually hates.

I hate it how people are ignorant and lazy. I hate how people are selfish. I hate how people comlpain about Wal-Mart exploiting children then going to shop there. When you buy, you exploit children. Wal-Mart exists because of you, you stupid fucks. I hate how people are lazy, I hate how people don't take the time to help another, a friend, a parent. I hate how people are cowards or fools. I hate how people can't admit they are what they are. I hate how people aren't informed about what's going on around the world, that they don't shit about who their country is killing and why, the real reasons. I hate how certain governments brainwash their nations. I hate how fast people forget other people are dying. I hate how superficial some cultures are. I hate politicaly correct assholes. I hate how people just can't accept that others are smarter than them. Yes, I do accept it, I'm not the smartes but there are other things in the world, like not knowing you don't know. I hate a lot of people in my orchestra class. They're fucking stupid! They can't play for shit, mainly because they don't listen to the music director, due to their rude and obnoxious behavior. They talk and noodle around with their damn instruments, getting them out of tune. In the end, they complain about how our music director doesn't teach them anything, and how their strings get out of tune. Well no fucking shit, you're the ones not listening and messing around! I also hate some of the people who just joined to go places like Disneyland and Six Flags.
I just feel like breaking my violin over their heads and telling them to get the hell out of my class. Oct 18 1:03 PM MST

I hate when people make blanket statements, especially when they're race-related, like "I hate black people, they're all so ghetto and cause problems cause they're in gangs" or "I hate white people, they're all snotty rich bitches", or "I hate asians, they think they're so smart and good at piano and eat frickin sushi all the time" or "i hate atheists, they're going to hell and there all sinners and horrid people", etc. Just because these things sometimes are true, doesn't mean they always are, and it makes the rest of us look bad. I hate racism in general, but blanket statements and stuff like that are the worst. Oct 15 4:49 AM MST
