GOD The way people treat dogs like they're human. My husband lets his dog lick him all over the face and then wonders why I don't kiss him... HELLO the damn thing JUST took a crap and then licked its butt!! Heck no I'm not going to kiss you! The darn things bark all hours of the night, there's crap and pee on the floor, and the first thing he does when he comes home is "Hi there swizzle, how was your day?" TO THE DOG... Um, let's see. The dog ate, slept, barked at anything that moved outside of the window, pood and peed all over my kitchen floor (unsanitary--GROSS)... same as yesterday, ya think? Never mind that I'm in the kitchen busting my oven to make the bum his dinner after working 8 hours plus. Dec 18 7:54 AM MST

I hate how Christianity gives itself so much superiority over other religions. Why do they have to put a capital "H" for refering to God ("...it was His word..."). Sometimes to annoy them, I sometimes don't put a capital "G" for God hahaha (my way to vent my annoyance towards their big-headedness, although it probably does nothing). Dec 4 10:26 PM MST

I hate that Christian groups are against marijuana smokage. I hate that I am a Christian and raised Catholic, but my true beliefs align mostly with the protestant philosophy. I hate that protestantism is supposed to encourage the free thinking interpretation of God's word, but most protestants are bullied by other Christians into a perfect ineffectual mold. I hate how no protestant institution in the world realizes that the first part of evangilization is action, NOT word. I hate that I am percieved as a bad Christian because I smoke a little pot. I hate that the secular world to which I would minister first sees me as not a Christian because of the pot. I hate that the Christian movement taught them that, when they would otherwise not see the connection. I hate that Christian America is full of puritans. I hate parents who send their kids to sunday school, because it only exposes their children to other white mashed-potato-and-gravey-eating christian kids instead of the racial and religious mix they should be exposed to. I hate that I used to be Mormon. What a load of crap that religion is. All lies!! And you believe it so much with all your heart when you're growing up. Then you find out it's a madeup religion with just a self-serving, horny, uneducated manwhore as it's leader.

Now I see that there is actual proof of Jesus and biblical events that distinguished historians and archaeologists can point to. But that just brings up more confusion and definitely doesn't prove that the bible is true. It was written be a race of people that seemed to have skewed the truth. Do I really believe that God only picked one race (the Jews) to love and bless? Do I really think that because I'm a Gentile ("a dog") that God doesn't love me as much? Do I really believe that God only gave gentiles a chance at heaven because the Jews rejected him?? These things just don't add up for me.

I always pictured God as a loving, equal-opportunity God. So I can't just believe in the bible. Because it was written by men. Fallible, prejudiced, imperfect, arrogant men.

So where does that leave me? There is more evidence for the Bible than any other religion on the face of the Earth. But just because the Bible has factual people, places, and events in it doesn't necessarily make the heart of the message true.

I hate it that when I try to bring these subjects up with my friends they just blow me off. "Well, just have faith." Easy for them to say because they don't actually think about it!!
My pastor even told me, "don't dig too deep."

Now I'm at an impasse. I would like to be a spiritual, religous person, but really don't know where to start. Apr 10 1:17 AM MST
