I hate how everything has to revolve around drinking. I hate that it is everywhere in movies in offices at my work at the grocery store. I hate listening to people talk about how drunk they need to be to deal with life. I hate that because I am not a drinker I get labeled as "a person who has no fun in their life." My life is a lot of fun and I feel that i am alone because I chose not to abuse drugs and alcohol. It is sad that in order for there to be a connection we need to be high or drunk. I hate that America and Europe came up with random names for countries and we decided to call them that. The people in Hong Kong don't call Hong Kong they call it Xianggang, which yeah, is a little harder to pronounce but it's the correct title. Where the hell did Hong Kong come from?!?! I mean even with Germany, the French call it Allemange, but really its Deutschland. Why can't we just call it Deutschland?!?! I hate communism. I hate it for many reasons. First and foremost, I hate any form of government that involves huge emphasis on authority figures. Why should we all be treated like little children by the government? We should be able to make our own decisions and have freedom of speech amongst other civil rights. Second, I hate the way that communism essentially penalizes the honest, moral hard-working people who work really hard, just to make the same pay as the slackers and end up picking up the slack for the majority of the group that are slackers. The equal pay and guaranteed social "benefits" encourages lazy people to not work as hard, or to not work at all. That is not fair to the people who work really hard. I also hate communism because the government runs everything, which does not allow for competition. Thankfully my country of the USA is not communist, but some of the changes occuring as a result of the Bush adminsitration reek of slight commuinsm and I hate that! For example, the gov't telling small bar businesses that they are not allowed to let us smoke in their bars; or the state gov't of Massachusetts mandating that all people MUST obtain health insurance, essentially forcing the people who do not receive employee health benefits to dish out money for an individual plan. I hate politics today. Why do democrats and republicans have to disagree on EVERYTHING?! The founding fathers must be spinning in their graves. And its not just the politicians, so many citizens are complete idiots. Very few people are informed voters, if you don't know anything about the issues, DONT VOTE!!! Its truly a sad world where a president can be elected despite getting our country into the worst quagmire since vietnam, getting our country into the most debt in history, getting the whole world to hate us, and getting nothing positive accomplished at all. All because of his religous beliefs and the fact that our nation had a tradgedy during his term. Whatever happened to the core beliefs of the Republican party? Smaller government, lower taxes, and strong foreign policy. People need to focus on the REAL ISSUES. Does it really matter if we say the word "God" in the pledge, gays can marry, or "intelligent design" is taught in schools? Who gives a shit? This is also the medias fault, all they are out to do is make money. Thats why we have 2 hour long specials on Micheal Jackson while millions are dying from genocide and aids in Africa.
