I hate how there's no really good American equivalent of words like "wanker" which could easily describe certain people perfectly in ways that words like "asshole" can't. I hate when British people get on Americans for the differences in spelling and terminology. like harbor and harbour. eff the history of the english language lets look it it this way, there's 300 million of us and 60 million of you. even if you add australia, canada, and new zealand who all share your funky spelling and some of your weird words [mobile for a cellphone?!?!] you still can't win thats only 100million! so just deal with it!
