I hate being an "adult learner." I went to college when I was 18 and flunked out. When I was 20 I got my head on straight and graduated from a tech school with a degree in computer science. This piece of shit degree did nothing for me when I graduated in December of 1999 when the IT market crashed. I'm now 29 years old and going to night college. I pay $1200 or so per class for subjects that I'll never use again. College is just like all the other money grubbing establishments that have been allowed to get way too big...i.e. banks, churches, government agencies. I have 5 more classes and I'll have my bullshit degree in marketing and management. I just want that piece of paper so I'm "qualified" to earn a decent paycheck in diluted corporate America. I hate any service hot line that makes you switch through to five, six operators before you finally get attended, or even being told that they are busy and you shall call them again and charged a buck or more per minute. Nov 10 4:50 AM MST
