Supposedly, I'm a funny person, so lots of times I say something really witty and funny and everyone laughs at it and gives me credit for being so hilarious. I like that - I like making people laugh, but I HATE when randomly I'll be hanging out with someone and they'll use that same line or joke or whatever and everyone will laugh at them and give THEM credit for being so funny!

They don't even tell people that it was ME who originally came up with that! I know it sounds petty, but I frigging hate it because it's happened to me all my life. I HATE when people copy me. And then I don't want to say anything to them because if I'm like "Hey! I told you that before!" I'll seem really dumb.

I hate that food servers just EXPECT to be tipped 20% no matter how good or bad of a job they do. I've been a food server for many years at several different restaurants too - and it only makes me expect MORE of my server when I go out to eat.

Seriously food servers, especially in places like California that already make minimum wage on top of tips, get over yourselves. 15% is normal. 20% is a stinkin good job.

An I HATE that some people think standard tipping should be 20%. It wasn't that long ago that it was 10%, so just be lucky you even get 15%. Jan 11 1:23 PM MST

I hate it that everybody makes fun of my name. Almost everybody whom I tell my name makes a stupid joke of some kind, just because it is very rare and they havent heard it before (what a great reason). I hate it even more, when they tell me "with THAT name you just ask for it, if you got a problem, go and change it". Or "were your parents hippies?/were they drunk when they chose the name?/ Have you at least sued your parents for doing that to you????"
And the worst is, the name is only a rare variant of a very common name (it's only common in Germany, but it's like "Maria" and "Mary", its almost the same), so I don't really see whats supposed to be THAT special and strange about it. Dec 5 2:45 AM MST
