I really, really hate it when you're having a casual conversation with someone and they start in with the "Oh, so you're the kind of person who..."

Like they've got everything about you figured out from some idle comment.

Same with the, "Oh, you're (characteristic X) so you must be (facile snap judgment)." "You're eating Thai food, so you must be one of those trendy people who have to try to be cool and not just eat normal food."

Or whatever!

Jeez, people, I'm just going about my life. I'm not existing to get a reaction! And if you don't know me in some depth...shut up with your judging me to my face! Nov 28 1:48 PM MST
