I hate how God is always referred to as a man. Instead of God's word or God and God's people, it's His word and God and His people. God is not a man, God is a force. It might be comforting, but God is not a person sitting in a throne dictating things. Another thing I hate is how people get all pissed when they really have no philosophical experience and only defend what they have been taught. Think for yourselves, people. Oh yeah, and if you're allowed to say your beliefs which sound crazy to me, I'm allowed to say my beliefs that seem crazy to you. Don't you fucking think I get hurt just as much as YOU do when you point out how "sinful" I am? I hate the common modern day practice of financing engagement rings. An engagement ring is supposed to cost a certain portion of a man's yearly salary, and thus be a representation of his ablity to support a wife. There was a time when a woman finding out that an engagement ring was not paid for was grounds for divorce, as it constituted fraud. Nowadays, rings are financed out the wazoo. When a couple marries, their debt is combined. Essentially a woman ends up paying for her own damned engagement ring. Why this is tolerated, I just don't understand. Sep 24 3:31 PM MST
